How are you doing?

I hope you were able to find time to be part of some of our golden jubilee activities.

Well, the official activities marking Oyo State at 50 have ended and once again, I say thank you.

Thank you to every indigene, resident, friend of the State, and well-wisher who celebrated with us.

Thank you for the tributes, messages, reflections, prayers, and goodwill that poured in from across Nigeria and beyond.

They reminded us that Oyo State is not just a place, it is a shared identity, shaped by memory, and collective effort.

The messages submitted to the Digital Tribute Wall were especially moving. They reflected pride in our past, honesty about our journey, and confidence in what lies ahead. I am deeply grateful to everyone who took the time to add their voice to this moment in our history.

While the official celebrations have been concluded, the work remains ongoing.

Oyo State at 50 was never an end point, it is a marker. A moment to reflect, yes, but more importantly, a moment to recommit to building a safer, more prosperous, and more inclusive State for the future.

In that spirit, I would also like to reassure residents that the enhanced security measures earlier communicated remain on course. The surveillance aircraft will be arriving in Oyo State very soon. This is part of our broader effort to strengthen surveillance, response capacity, and overall public safety across the State.

Once again, thank you for celebrating with us.

Thank you for your trust.

Thank you for standing with Oyo State.

Our story continues, and together, we will keep moving it forward.

Talk to you again soon
