As we celebrate another year in office, our hearts are full of gratitude, reflection, and renewed commitment.

Six years ago, we set out to build a State where growth is intentional, leadership is data-led, and progress is not just seen but felt. We set out to build a legacy. And legacy, as we know, isn’t built in a day. It is built daily – with every decision made, every road constructed, every young mind empowered.

Today, thanks to your support, encouragement, and partnership, we have:

• • Raised internally generated revenue by over 295%

• • Improved infrastructure in every zone of the State

• • Invested in agriculture, youth employment, and public health

• • Managed crises without losing the public trust

These milestones are not just government achievements — they are a collective testimony to what happens when a people believe in purpose-driven leadership.

And so, for me, 29 May is a reminder that the mandate belongs to the people, and that governance must always be about impact, not just intention.

This year, we chose to mark the day quietly, but with renewed introspection.
