On February 13, 2023, Governor Seyi Makinde and other Oyo State PDP Candidates resumed their campaigns in Oke-Ogun Zone at Iseyin LGA after over a week’s break from the campaign trail. Governor Makinde had announced the suspension of campaigns in a statewide broadcast on February 03, 2023, in solidarity with those protesting against fuel and Naira scarcity in Ibadan. Their first stop was a meeting with non-indigenes at Kara Market, Iseyin.
