The campaign train of Governor Seyi Makinde and other Oyo State PDP candidates moved to Ibarapa Zone on January 31, 2023. On Day 1, the candidates visited Ibarapa North and Ibarapa Central Local Government Areas (LGAs) as part of the campaigns in Ibarapa Zone. Their first stop in Ibarapa North was a rally in Igangan.
