January 14, 2023, was Day 2 of the campaigns in Oyo Zone. Governor Seyi Makinde and other Oyo State PDP candidates visited Afijio Local Government Area. The first stop was to meet with non-indigenes at Roundabout, Iware.

Thereafter, Governor Makinde and his entourage met with the Muslim community at Fiditi Central Mosque led by Imam Afeez Oyelere; traditional worshippers at Afijio Local Government Secretariat, Jobele; and members of the Christian Association of Nigeria (CAN) led by Rev Peter Ajao at First Baptist Church, Aawe.
