Press Briefing by the Head of the Oyo State COVID-19 Task Force (April 25, 2020)

Good evening and thank you for joining me. The State Secretariat will be reopened on Monday April 27th 2020. Only civil servants at level 13 and above with separate offices will resume. The following guidelines are in place to prevent and control the spread of COVID-19 within the secretariat: • There will be new security measures in place including having only one gate to serve as entrance and exit. FIRST OYO STATE COVID-19 TASK FORCE PRESS BRIEFING (MARCH 20, 2020)

The Ministry of Health also started running enlightenment campaigns about coronavirus in markets, schools and for people in the hospitality industry, to maintain the hand washing culture and give a safe distance if anyone is sneezing or coughing around them. But with the identified case that reportedly transited through Ibadan to Ekiti State, we are stepping up those measures.
