This is the type of project that we envisaged when we created the Road Map to Accelerated Development in Oyo State, 2019-2023. Before we came in, educational infrastructure was in a deplorable state. We would often see pictures of dilapidated schools in Oyo State going viral on the internet. And so, we were determined to change that narrative.
Today, STEP is running in Bishop Phillips Academy, Ibadan and Methodist High School, Ibadan. While things are in top gear at Christ High School, Oleyo, Adegun Asake Grammar School, Igangan, Iresaadu High School, Iresaadu and UMCA Secondary Grammar School, Igbeti.
From what I have observed, His Excellency has been working hard for the people of Adamawa State. In the PDP we always say that our governors mean business. We believe in infrastructure and development.
I am always happy to be among lawyers, especially brilliant lawyers. When lawyers get involved in national discussions and debates, they often bring perspectives that laymen may not have thought about or contemplated.
You are the real winners in this process, as you can rightly say that you have elected your representatives. The process was free and fair and in line with the Constitution of the Federal Republic of Nigeria.
Years from now, when people talk about how Nigerian Breweries took the first step in shifting from conventional electricity to renewable energy, the records will show that it started in your Ibadan brewery.
We are constantly looking for more effective and efficient ways of doing things and avoiding waste. So, this is an open invitation to all participants of this conference that our doors are always open. Come with your ideas and let us work together.
