So, as we flag off these stakeholders’ meetings, it is my hope that as usual you will come out and participate in the process. The beauty of democracy is that we can all be part of the transformation that we want.

Our administration remains determined to better the lives of the people of Oyo State. And one of the ways we are doing this is through the resuscitation of moribund industries.
We are the Federal Republic of Nigeria. But our federalism exists in name only. Students of political history will tell you that what we have been practising is, in fact, a unitary system of government – where more powers are concentrated in the central government. Another thing that our political theorists will tell you is that by nature, a unitary system of government is better suited for small countries.
Oyo State has the arable land size and the climatic conditions to support all types of agribusiness endeavours.
Through the Oyo State Agribusiness Development Agency (OYSADA) we are positioning Oyo State as the agribusiness industrial hub in Nigeria.
So, now you have your market back. It is beautiful. But you have to promise one thing.
