Security

Security remains pivotal for a thriving and robust economy. Investors are assured of the safety of their lives, properties and investments within the borders of the state. We are working with federal authorities and have a newly constituted state security architecture to guarantee the protection of the people of Oyo state safe.

Our Roadmap for Accelerated Development in Oyo State is standing on four pillars: Economy, Education, Healthcare and Security. However, we are not leaving out other sectors. A Speech at the LAUTECH 14th Alumni Lecture, titled ‘Creating a Responsive Economy in Handling Global Challenges Through Qualitative University Education in the Post-Pandemic Era

Since one of the “fundamental drivers of economic growth” is our university education system, we should be thinking of comprehensive reform programs that will reposition our universities as growth drivers. Remarks at the Symbolic Handover of the Pacesetter Fruit Processing Limited to Agvest Limited

But something they could not do in eight years; we are doing in under two years. Also, by the Grace of God, we will have this complex completed within our tenure.

At the onset of the COVID-19 pandemic, we had to make the tough decisions to leverage the situation and accelerate our plans to address the dilapidating healthcare infrastructure in Oyo State. This [Saki Specialist Hospital], as well as the [infectious disease centre] in Olodo, are direct results of our well-thought-out approach.
