Strong economies make strong nations. For any nation’s economy to thrive, the component states/regions need to focus on and strengthen their Internally Generated Revenue. Yet, economies do not grow in a vacuum. There must be a targeted focus on sectors where the state enjoys a competitive advantage. It is against this background that the Oyo State Government is leveraging on agribusiness to revamp the economy of the state. Our strategy is to work with private organisations and development agencies (PPDP) to get funding where possible.
There are strong links between the level of education of a community and its growth and development. Having been a product of free eduction system of the Bola Ige administration in the 1980s, I take it as a duty to ensure that no child is left educationally disadvantaged in Oyo State. Through projects and policies, my dream is to ensure free qualitative education in the state.

We are implementing programmes that will ensure affordable healthcare systems is available in all the nooks and crannies of Oyo State.
Security remains pivotal for a thriving and robust economy. Investors are assured of the safety of their lives, properties and investments within the borders of the state. We are working with federal authorities and have a newly constituted state security architecture to guarantee the protection of the people of Oyo state safe.
Our Roadmap for Accelerated Development in Oyo State is standing on four pillars: Economy, Education, Healthcare and Security. However, we are not leaving out other sectors. It is our firm belief that a fully diversified and integrated economy, with all sectors working at the optimum, is essential for rapid growth.
